Special Education Coordinator

Description: North Greene Unit District No. 3 is a PreK-12 district with a total enrollment of approximately 870 students located in West Central Illinois and made up of the small rural communities of White Hall, Roodhouse, Patterson, and Hillview. The posted position is District Special Education Coordinator/Supervisor.
Job Summary: The initial contract will be a full-time, one year, 11-month period beginning August 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, with primary responsibilities of coordination of district special education student services and educational placement of district students identified with special needs, including scheduling of related testing, completion and dissemination of required notifications and reports, educational leadership, supervision and formal evaluation of special education staff, and performance of all duties as described in State law related to the position. Other duties to be specified in an employment agreement. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience as determined by the Board of Education. Qualifications: Appropriate Illinois licensure (Type 75) for PreK-12 administration and Masters degree in Special Education.
Working Conditions: The position office will be located in the North Greene Administrative Education Center/District Unit Office located in White Hall, Illinois. There are approximately 18 special education professional licensed educators and 20 special education support personnel within the district. The district is also a member of the Four Rivers Special Education Cooperative, Jacksonville, Illinois.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
